Notes on connection
in a world shaped by algorithms.
I see things other people walk past.
The overlooked opportunity. The underutilized space. The audience nobody thought to court. The partnership that makes both sides wonder why it took so long.
I do not know exactly how I got wired this way. But I have been doing it long enough to trust it.
For twenty-five years, I have built things across industries, company stages, and more than a few moments when nobody had a plan and someone needed to make one. I have launched companies, shaped brands, built revenue from thin air, and walked into rooms with little more than a good read on what was possible.
At one point, in the middle of a crisis, I helped feed 30,000 people.
I am still not entirely sure how some of it happened. But it did. And I learned something real from every one of those experiences.
I am the founder of Bright Hues Media, a strategy and execution studio working across brand, content, AEO, and growth. We help companies get found, get clear, and get moving.
Right now, I am also building a multi-brand activation platform at a mountain resort in the Shenandoah Valley and serving as Head of Strategic Partnerships at Bord Labs, where we help brands get found in the age of AI.
I am a writer, a photographer, and a genuine lover of art and beautiful media.
Ink & Algorithm started as a place to think out loud. It became a home for the ideas I keep returning to: visibility, attention, creativity, technology, overlooked opportunities, and the strange alchemy that makes a good idea land.
It is where I put the things I cannot stop noticing.
I am based in Austin, Texas, usually on a trail with Bosco, my tri-color Border Collie and Chief Petting Officer, who has strong opinions about treat frequency and very little patience for slow Wi-Fi.
If something here resonates, let’s talk.
